Breakfast Plate Unikko

Marimekko's famous UNIKKO poppy pattern was created in 1964, at a time when the design house's collections were primarily showcasing abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something new and special from this organic theme and designed a whole series of floral patterns. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity and individuality.
