Warm Minimal Living in Miami
A life, styled
Bettina Looney is a personal stylist, brand ambassador and tastemaker with a keen eye for aesthetics. She lives in Miami with her husband Carlos and their two sons, in a home that effortlessly brings together fashion, culture and family life, painting a very personal picture of their everyday life.
Not sought, but found.
The house in Miami? A chance find on a perfectly ordinary afternoon: a Spanish-style home from the 1920s with a terracotta roof, gentle archways and a lush garden. A move wasn’t actually planned – but the house instantly felt right and became the centre of family life.
Soft, minimal, natural
Light materials, soft textures and organic forms: the interior follows a consistently natural line. The look is pared-back but not austere – rather a balance of modern clarity and relaxed, Mediterranean elegance.
An elegant favourite spot: Alba lounge armchair
Closer to earth
Wood, beige and sand tones create a warm atmosphere. The colour palette is deliberately tonal – and it is precisely this that makes it feel especially harmonious. This creates a seamless connection between the interior and nature.
Gathering
The kitchen opens onto the dining area and becomes the focal point of everyday life. A long table forms the centre – for conversations, shared meals and long evenings. Chrome accents lend a subtle retro touch.

With plenty of marble, stone and other natural materials.
